Glory Be To God, as Bellefonte celebrated our 143rd Homecoming Celebration on Sunday, August 8th, 2010!

Our 11am worship service was blessed with musical selections from each choir and a liturgical dance by The Anointed Dancers.  One of our very own sons of the house, Rev. Dr. David Miller of Charlotte, NC, brought the morning message.  Guest pulpit ministers were Minister Sylvester Allison and Rev. Charles Moss.  What a true blessing the morning service was for all in attendance.

We continued our day with a congregational procession to our new George L. Govan Family Life Center.  The celebratory ribbon was cut by our honoree, Mr. George Govan.  As he entered the new facility, the congregation followed singing "We Have Come Into This House".  What a monumental time it was as Minister Drucilla Govan led the dedication of our new life center, along with all donated items and gifts.  Our dedication was followed by a delicious lunch.

Our afternoon celebration continued with the cornerstone ceremony conducted by the 33rd Masonic District.  We concluded our glorious time in the Lord with our 4pm worship service.  The special guests were Rev. Dr. Julia Harmon, choir and congregation of Black's Memorial Presbyterian Church in Monroe, NC.  We had a full day showered with many blessings.  A special thank you to all our guests as well as our Sons and Daughters who shared this special day with us.  May God Continue To Bless You Richly.
